Unable to connect to a backup from another device

Hi there, I backed up a device’s (iPhone 8 Plus) photos and videos to an iCloud folder in the Files app. When I try to connect to the backup using another device (iPhone 17 Pro Max) with the same Apple and iCloud account used as on the iPhone 8 Plus, it is unable to connect.
The message says: Not connected Establishing connection to backup storage.
Thanks for any help you can provide

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. To fix this, you just need to check two things:
1. Make sure the backup path on your new phone is exactly the same as the old one. For example, if you originally backed up to a folder named PhotoBackup (the app automatically generates a BackiGo folder inside it), please select PhotoBackup directly on your iPhone 17 Pro Max. Do not select the BackiGo folder.2. If you selected the correct folder but still see "Not connected Establishing connection to backup storage.", it's actually a display bug in the current version. The app is loading photo thumbnails in the background. If you have a large photo library, this initial load can take a while. Please keep the app open on this screen and wait a moment.
I'll add a clear loading progress bar in the next update to avoid this confusion. Let me know if you still run into issues!
